They mean well but do not do enough due diligence when letting potential residents in. None of knows who will actually stay sober but with this place as long as you have some dough your good to go as the saying goes. They should reject half the applicants as anyone can tell they have no desire to be sober just need a place to crash. Stop looking for the almighty dollar once in awhile and look for some recovery before admitting some of these jerks. Each guest can expect a clean bed, sufficient clothing storage, HDTV w/ cable and free wifi in every room inside a clean, well maintained home cared for by the guests who stay there! Our homes are smoke free but there are plenty of designated outdoor smoking areas.

I work in this field and these residents need treatment which I don't see happening here. Behaviors need to change in order for one to get better and in order for this to happen good management needs to be present. Peter McCarthy relapesed in 2009 , and he has not been clean for 15 years .

I would stay away from any houses Steps 2 Solutions is involved with. I am a resident that lives in the same complex as Peter's program. This program is a joke, it gives those who are really in "recovery" a bad name. Steps to solutions has given me the tools and foundation and a new out look on life. I have been in countless detoxs halfway houses and sober houses and have yet to come across a program that fits me. It was obvious that the house manager was under the influence of something. I was approached by another tenant who asked me if I was on suboxone and if I had any for sale I spoke to the tenant who told me that not only the house manager uses drugs but that the owner is not sober either. I took into account that one guys opinion might not be true but I can't get the sight of that house manager nodding off while we spoke.
